The greatest invention for felting since sheep!

Even at a glance, you can see this is no ordinary paper. Made entirely of vegetable startch (potato, actually), Artfelt paper is simply a gift to anyone who loves felting. It becomes your canvas, it holds your roving gently yet firmly and allows you a level of creative control that was previously only dreamt of.
Here's how it works: Lay out your Artfelt paper, cut to the size of your choice. It's not a problem if there are folds in it. Apply your roving as your inspiration directs. When an area is as you want it, or as you want the first layer, use your barbed needle to tack it in place every 1/2 inch or so. Continue laying on and tacking roving until you declare yourself done. Then spray the roving with water until thoroughly wet, place a plastic sheet over it, roll it up and toss it in the dryer. After 15-45 minutes, your felt fabric will be finished and the paper will still be attached. Place your piece in a sink with the paper side up and pour boiling water over it. Hey, presto! the paper will dissolve, leaving only your beautiful felt behind. You can then either lay your felt flat to dry or iron it dry. What fun, yes?
